Dr Richard Heron Appointed to Zello Group Advisory Board

Zello is thrilled to announce the newest Advisor to our team.

Dr Richard Heron MB ChB FRCP FFOM FACOEM - Zello Group Advisory Board – Corporate Health & Wellbeing.

As a physician-executive with 30 years international experience in corporate Health leadership, and leadership of professional health bodies, Richard has advised organisations on a wide-range of health and work topics from personal health, occupational health, travel medicine, infectious disease (pandemic) management, public health, and advising on ESG and sustainability strategies.

Richard recently retired from bp where, as VP Global Health and Chief Medical Officer, he was responsible for strategic development of the bp Group’s Health agenda including Employee Wellbeing, Occupational Health and Hygiene, Community and Public Health in the locations where bp operate.

Earlier in his career, Richard spent time as a hospital doctor in New Zealand and the UK and prior to bp was the Head of Global Safety, Health and Risk Management for AstraZeneca.

In addition, Richard is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, a fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine UK., a member of the NHS Expert Advisory Group for employee health and wellbeing, a member of the UK National Wellbeing Forum, Co-Chair International Occupational Medicine Society Collaborative, and past President of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine UK and Society of Occupational Medicine.

We are delighted that Richard has joined the Zello team. He will add an independent viewpoint that will layer additional expertise to an already strong and talented team, busy offering up a real choice to prospective new client’s where they are lacking a flexible, innovative, and technology driven approach to monitoring the health and wellbeing of their people and operations
