Zello appoints Vanessa Abernethy as Chairman
Zello Group has today named Vanessa Abernethy as its new Chair of the Board of Directors.
Ms Abernethy, an experienced corporate and financial services lawyer and regulatory compliance and risk professional, was previously a Partner at two international law firms, led the legal and regulatory compliance function for high-profile family offices, and managed corporate governance functions for financial services authority regulated entities in the United Arab Emirates. She also maintains various other board of director and board committee appointments and is the current Chair of the New Zealand Business Council.

Vanessa is recognised as a key individual in the UAE legal and financial services sectors, and she has featured in the list of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Finance in the Middle East.
Ms Abernethy, an experienced executive and non-executive director, has been admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and Admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. She joins Zello at a time of rapid and significant growth to support the Zello team in delivering its ambitious global growth strategy.
