Zello Working with Ministry of Health Oman to Help Deliver Strategic Health Aspirations - Oman Vision 2040

Deeply rooted and forward-looking, Oman Vision 2040 builds on the achievements realised in many fields in the country over the past decades. It represents an integrated set of socio-economic policies that should be implemented as guidelines to reach the image desired for Oman by 2040.

The strategic health aspirations prioritise developing a Leading Healthcare System with International Standards by 2040. This vision covers all of Oman governorates, with participation from government, the private sector, and civil society. Key development areas include increased medical specialities and facilities to help develop personnel to international best practice accreditations - be it in medical services, healthcare centres or medical personnel.

Increasing community awareness around health responsibilities, services, prevention, and communication, and overcoming geographical barriers will come through the acceptance and the increased use of technology (HealthTech).

Countries with rapid economic growth and the confidence to move forward at pace, such as Oman, are especially vulnerable to occupational diseases. The Oman Vision 2040 has a focus on speeding up the growth of the industrial sector. This means that the public and corporate health sector in Oman needs to be prepared to manage a commensurate increase in occupational diseases and injuries.

Zello is honoured to be working with the Ministry of Health Oman and both public and private sector organisations to support delivering the Oman Vision 2040 by assisting in the implementation of some of the Occupational Medicine initiatives presented in the recent Oman Medical Journal by Public Sector leaders - helping meet today’s requirements and those of Oman Vision 2040.
